Echidna
The Echidna is a monotreme. These spiny creatures live in the forests of Australia. Some sub species are extinct.
- They are known as "Spiny Anteaters"
- the spines are modified hairs which they can control
- they live slow and long
- they are egg laying mammals
- they are tooth-less
- they have unusual brains
- they host the worlds largest flea
- the baby is called a Puggle
This is a Puggle.
This Echidna is searching for food.
